Genre of Song
My chosen song "Our House Is Dadless" has a genre of ska, indie. Below I have embedded a track which is of this genre and is sampled in my chosen song; also there are two styles which are associated with this genre: indie and ska.

Conventions of the Music Video
To show the conventions of a music video I have analysed my chosen songs music video. The form of this video is narrative with elements of performance. At the bottom of this post I have embedded the music video.

Mise-en-Scene
Each band member wear clothing which is stereotypical to the genre which they focus their music on. Due to the location of the video being set on what looks to be a council estate, the idea which others think when council estate comes to mind, is untidy gardens such as overgrown grass, weeds and toys/mess all over the garden.
Form
A mixture of both narrative and performance is used.

My chosen song is "Our House Is Dadless" the fourth single to be released by Kid British. The track samples British ska band's Madness "Our House." Also the track itself entered the UK Singles Chart at number 63.I have embedded the music video to this song below.
